The Role

The Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of a large-scale processing facility, ensuring safe and compliant plant performance. The role forms part of the site leadership team, maintaining operational control within a safety-critical environment. Responsibilities include managing operational teams, overseeing plant activities and ensuring adherence to health, safety and environmental standards.

The role will focus on delivering consistent performance through monitoring key operational targets, analysing data and implementing improvements to optimise reliability and efficiency. Working closely with maintenance and engineering teams, you will coordinate planned and unplanned activities, resolve operational issues and ensure consistent execution of operating procedures.

In addition, you will be responsible for departmental budgets and cost control, identifying opportunities to improve financial performance. You will lead and develop operational personnel, ensuring a structured and disciplined approach. Candidates will have experience within complex process or power generation environments, with strong technical understanding and the ability to maintain safe and consistent operations.
